Riders, we are thrilled to share some exciting news with all of you. Recently, we were honored to become a sponsor for the Bike MS 2023 Bay to Bay Ride. To show our support for this fundraising event, we donated an UrbanGlide Ultra in Gunmetal Blue to serve as a prize for participants in this charity ride.
On October 14th, 1300 cyclists hit the road for the Bike MS Bay to Bay Ride. It was an extraordinary adventure taking riders along the coast from Orange County down to San Diego County.
Depending on the routes they chose, participants rode up to 150 miles across two days. They spent day one trekking from Broadcom on Alton Parkway in Irvine to the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa, where they got to enjoy amazing food, a curated selection of beer, and live music. The next day began with majestic views of the Pacific Ocean as riders traversed Torrey Pines and ended with medals, food, and beverages at the finish line at Ingram Plaza.
After the event, Bike MS organized an additional fundraising activity that aims to raise awareness about multiple sclerosis (MS) and put money towards finding a cure, which would change the lives of the nearly 1 million people living with MS in the United States. Anyone can participate in the fundraising effort, and all it takes is a $25 donation for a chance to win the UrbanGlide Ultra. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals to support a noble cause and make a difference in the lives of those affected by multiple sclerosis.
The UrbanGlide Ultra is one of our newest models that we unveiled at (e)revolution National e-Bike Exhibition in June of this year. It is the most advanced version of the UrbanGlide series, with its exceptional design and superior features serving as a perfect blend of power, comfort, and off-road capabilities. From commuting on city streets to exploring the suburbs, this model’s smooth and reliable performance makes every outing uniquely effortless and enjoyable for riders.
We hope that our donation of an UrbanGlide Ultra will inspire more people to participate in this latest Bike MS fundraising event to bring hope and support to those affected by multiple sclerosis. Valued at $2499, this incredible prize signifies our gratitude for the lucky winner’s involvement in such an important cause.
Through our donation, we hope to bring more attention to the Bike MS fundraising event and contribute to raising awareness about multiple sclerosis. We believe that everyone has the power to make a positive change in the world, whether through participating in charity events, making direct donations to those in need, or just spreading the word. Sponsoring the Bay to Bay Ride is just one example of Vanpowers’ greater commitment to social responsibility. Lastly, we’d like to thank KTLA for including us in their coverage of this event. In the future, we intend to continue supporting community initiatives and contributing to incredible causes like this one!
