Is the City Vanture eBike UL2272 safety certified?

The City Vanture is fully compliant with all the compulsory certificate/regulations in the US, EU, and Germany. We did not apply for the UL2272, as it is mostly for electric scooters, hoverboards, and electric skateboards, whereas our e-bike belongs to the pedelec category, which does not generate power by itself without your pedaling. The safety concerns about our e-bike are and should be vastly different from those of a compact electric skateboard that has to be fully powered by its own battery and motor.
